Dear South Palm
Partners,  
This coming Sunday,
May 11 we have crafted a fabulous Mother's Day
Service that not only includes great worship but also
some very meaningful moments for families. In addition to our
Parent/Child Dedication at both services we
will be launching the new "relationship" series entitled:
WHO KNEW?
Please don't miss the
opener if you are married, single, divorced, or whatever. If
you are in town, find out ... WHO KNEW!
 "HERE I AM, SEND
ME!"
As most of you are
aware, our government is undergoing what is now known as an
Economic Stimulus Package where Americans are receiving a tax
rebate in order to stimulate our sagging economy.
As I mentioned on
Sunday, I want to suggest that in the month of May,
beginning THIS Sunday, May 11 we launch a Missions Stimulus
Package, going "above and beyond" what we normally give to
make a difference around the world. I want to suggest
that some of us might take our tax rebate or other ways that
we have been blessed financially and multiply it to make a
difference around the world. As we do that, we will stimulate
the transformation of our world, increasing the size of heaven
one life at a time!
A generous
family in our church has agreed to provide matching funds for
every dollar given to missions THIS Sunday up to
$20,000.  This means that you can
double your impact by bringing your first and best gift to
this worthy cause this Sunday! Yea, God!
Our God-sized goal for
Thailand Missions this year is $60,000 given "above &
beyond" our regular giving.

Some really good
things are happening "behind the scenes" with the
county commissioners giving land in the agricultural reserve a
look the next few months.
